Sheet metal part without a CAD file
New feature, still in development. The price is a real calculation. You can't order here yet – you send us an enquiry and we'll get back to you with a binding quote.
No drawing software? Describe your part.
Tell us in your own words what you need – or take a photo of your sketch. We'll turn it into a drawing. You review and approve it. Then you'll see the price.
- 01 Describe the part words, photo or catalog
- 02 Give dimensions one question at a time
- 03 Review drawing production only starts after that
- 04 See the price non-binding, no account needed
- We cut sheet metal up to 20 mm thick (steel; stainless steel and aluminum up to 15 mm). Bending goes up to 15 mm. Threads, countersinks and assemblies aren't included.
- You won't receive a CAD file to download – the drawing is there for your review.
- Please check all dimensions carefully before approving. We manufacture exactly what you approve.
Which part do you need?
Choose the shape that fits best. You'll enter the dimensions in the next step.
You already have a sketch? Then save yourself the typing.
How would you like to describe your part?
You can switch or add to this at any time later.

Which files work?
Simple sketches with dimensions written on them are easiest to read – hand-drawn and photographed is fine too. JPEG, PNG, WebP and PDF are allowed, up to 15 MB per file; for a PDF we read the first page. Please save iPhone photos (HEIC) as JPEG first. Up to two sketches are allowed per session – removed sketches count too.
Draw your part
Rough is fine – the dimensions matter, not straight lines. Use Dimension to enter the important lengths, then we can read your part without follow-up questions.
Does this match your part?
Please confirm exactly one shape. Only then does it continue with the dimensions – nothing is decided automatically.

Important notes on file upload
2D data (DXF, DWG)
- Cutting contours only: Files must contain only the contours to be cut. Please remove dimensions, text and other drawing elements.
- Correct scale: Make sure the dimensions in the file match the actual size in millimeters.
- Closed contours: All contours should be fully closed. Open contours can lead to incorrect calculations.
- Beta status: 2D processing is still in testing. Please carefully check the generated preview images for accuracy.
3D data (STEP, IGES)
- Sheet metal parts only: The system currently doesn't automatically check whether a file is a sheet metal part. The calculated prices apply exclusively to sheet metal parts!
- Note: If you upload parts that aren't sheet metal, the price calculation may be incorrect or misleading.
PDF drawings (recommended)
- Highest accuracy: With PDF uploads, the price calculation is most accurate, since additional processing steps can be detected.
- Automatic detection: Bends, welds, threads and other processing steps are automatically extracted from the drawing.
- Recommendation: Whenever possible, always upload a PDF drawing together with your 3D model.
